Erecting the 6 Band Hustler Antenna
Hustler being passed up to Paul with the frame and poll just behind him

Our first job(with Paul and Brian in charge)was to construct a frame using angle iron with a 1m scaffold poll in the centre. This was then welded to the centre of a metal container and the hustler was attached as shown in the image on the right with four guys attached to the corners. 213 coax was used to connect the antenna to the HF transciever in the shack.

Main Features of the Hustler:
*Low visibility
*Low angle of radiation
*Good for dx

Results so far are encouraging!
